Acoustics analysis is important in the design of many common products and structures including speakers, cars, planes, buildings, sonar, and machinery. The Acoustics ACT Extension combines the ease-of-use functionality of ANSYS Workbench with the power of the ANSYSacoustics solver. It provides all of the tools necessary to set up, solve, and post-process acoustics analyses within the Workbench Mechanical environment.This training module lets you,

  • make use of the 3D acoustic features in Mechanical without having to use MAPDL
  • define acoustics properties
  • apply acoustic boundary conditions and loads
  • assign acoustic-structure interfaces, and post-process acoustic results
